My husband and I have lived in the Dallas, Texas area for over 20 years. I'm a mom, grandma, and great grandma.  Peter and I are controlled by two African Grey Parrots and one maltese-shitzu dog.  When not tending my garden, taking pictures, or cleaning up after the house pets, I'm researching the lives of those long departed.

Mattie Lee Price was my great grandmother.  We did not know her name until 2012, but we knew a legend that had been passed down through the family for decades.  A dime museum performer and circus side show sensation, Mattie rubbed elbows with some of the most famous entertainment people from the 1800's.  Houdini thought she was pretty special!  It took me more than three years to research and write Mattie's biography and now I'm about to take her memory back to Georgia where she was so sadly forgotten.  Mattie Lee Price, the Forgotten Georgia Wonder is available in print and e-book on Amazon and Smashwords and "wherever fine books are sold."

Currently I am researching the life of a woman who worked in the circus for over 40 years.  Since there aren't very many newspapers stories about her, it is impossible to write a pure biography.  Therefore, I'm going to attempt my very first historical novel.  It will be inspired by the woman's life and the world she lived in.

I do quite a bit of photography and you can find samples on my website.  Fortunately, I have had the privilege of doing volunteer photography for The Leathernecks of North Texas and Patriot Paws Service Dogs.
